Time: This route is 1 km long and the walk will take about half an hour. Add 2-3 hours if you plan to visit the Zoo. The sites are listed from the entrance gate - the Water Tower, following an “U” shaped route that ends in the Zoo.
Water Tower

The architects of the building had the idea of entering the Grand Park and resort through lavishly decorated entrance – The Water Tower. It was designed in Hungarian Art Nouveau style, inspired by folk elements: handicrafts, laces and embroidery. This symbol of Palić was formally open in 1912.
Great Park and Summer Stage

The Great park stretches form the Water tower to the lake. Its planting begun back in 1840. It was designed in the tradition of English gardens and later reconstructed as a Baroque-style park.
Grand Teracce

The Grand Terrace is a part of spa buildings intended for relaxation and enjoyment. The grand opening of the Grand Terrace was in 1912. At that time it was used as a multipurpose facility. The upstairs was renowned for its monumental ball room.
Music Pavillion and Memorial well

Right in front of the Grand Terrace, from the same period and of the same style, lies the tiniest Art Nouveau special purpose facility - the Music Pavillion. In the spirit of time, it was used and is still being used as a venue for promenade concerts.
Memorial Well

The Memorial Well was erected in the honour of the completion of constructions of the ansamble of Palić Art Nouveau spa buildings in 1912. It perfectly fit in the atmosphere on the lake front.
Women's Lido

This, another magnificent example of Hungarian Art Nouveau style building, extends out into the lake. The fairytale-like wooden Women’s Lido is rich in details and reminiscent of folk art.
Vermes Statue

Lajos Vermes was born in Subotica. He was a landowner, benefactor, a sports enthusiast and an athlete. He advocated a motto "a sound mind in a sound body" and sport in general. From 1880 to 1914 he organized sports games in Palić, which were in the spirit of Olympic games.
Zoo

It was founded in 1949. The Zoo spreads on 10 hectares. Its concept, beauty, arrangement, the treatment of animals rank this Zoo among the leading ones in this part of Europe.
